Brian O’Sullivan, Ph.D. (ABD) ~ Director of Consulting

Biography:

Prior to his present role at I/O Solutions, Mr. O’Sullivan was responsible for new product research and development and managed over 100 projects involving assessment centers, promotional test development, structured oral interviews, entry-level exam development, physical-ability test development and performance-evaluation-process development.  During his tenure at I/O Solutions, Mr. O’Sullivan has worked with numerous police departments, sheriff’s departments, state police departments, correctional facilities, federal law enforcement agencies and municipal fire departments.  Presently he works with some of the largest municipal, state and federal public safety agencies in the nation.  Some of the more notable cities he has completed large-scale assessment projects for include Atlanta, Chicago, Houston and the District of Columbia.  Sample counties in which he has developed and implemented comprehensive assessment projects include Cook County, IL, Orange County, FL and Gwinette County, GA.  Statewide assessment projects managed by Mr. O’Sullivan include the states of Florida, Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey.

 

Mr. O’Sullivan is the consummate scientist-practitioner.  He is routinely recognized by our clients for his outstanding dedication and attention to detail.  His statistical skills and knowledge of cutting-edge assessment practices are unparalleled.  Mr. O’Sullivan has earned his Master of Science degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and is A.B.D. toward the completion of his Ph.D. in the same field.  He has been an integral member of the I/O Solutions team since 2001 after working five years as a public safety selection consultant for another firm.

  

Keith Carroll, Ph.D. ~ Project Manager

Biography:

Dr. Carroll has been a member of the I/O Solutions project management team since 2007.  Dr. Carroll holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and has provided consulting and test development services for a number of notable police and fire service agencies across the country.  Dr. Carroll specializes in the development and implementation of written examinations and assessment center exercises.  Dr. Carroll also serves as Associate Chair for the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Business Psychology Department.

 

Nahren Ishaya, Ph.D. (ABD) ~ Project Manager

Biography: 

Ms. Ishaya is completing work on her Ph.D. and has received her master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology.  Ms. Ishaya specializes in the areas of job analysis and promotional assessment process development and implementation.  In addition to her work in selection and promotion, Ms. Ishaya is also actively involved in research in the area of work-family conflict in the lives of police officers.

Biography:

Ms. Wall earned her master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.  Her interests in the field include assessment centers as they relate to employee selection.

Ms. Landem holds her Master’s of Science Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology (Personnel and Human Resource Development) from the Illinois Institute of Technology.  Her interests include assessment centers, job analysis, and creating overall organization effectiveness through the means of selection. 

 

Anna Zarubin, M.A. ~ Project Associate

Biography:

Ms. Zarubin holds a master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Bowling Green State University. Her primary research interests include selection and training. Anna is co-author of a book chapter titled "Aging and Occupational Health," published in Aging and Work in the 21st Century (2007).
