New & Ongoing Research Studies
Criminal Justice Basic Ability Test - Validation Study
Consistent with our ongoing effort to demonstrate that CJBAT scores can predict academy performance, we are interested in securing data from a greater number of test users. Our current evidence demonstrates a strong, positive relationship between academy performance and CJBAT scores.
NCJOSI v 2.0 - Validation Study
Interested in helping to validate our new entry-level law enforcement exam? We are looking for agencies willing to partner with us to conduct local criterion-related validation studies for the next version of the NCJOSI. Please contact the Research and Development division if you are interested.
Predicting Polygraph Results with Integrity Tests
One area of research we are currently engaging in deals with integrity testing. Research shows that integrity tests tend to measure the sorts of constructs that are often measured in polygraphs. It stands to reason that an integrity test should then be related to the polygraph test. In fact this is what we have found through our internal research (see Integrity Testing... the Selection Tool of the Future). We are now engaging in research to show how useful integrity testing can be for agencies that conduct polygraphs in their selection process.
