Ohio - OACP Testing Program

The Ohio Law Enforcement Selection Inventory (OH-SELECT) is a state-of-the-art examination battery that was developed to assist agencies throughout the state of Ohio in selecting the most qualified law enforcement officers. The OH-SELECT is a two-part examination battery that provides a comprehensive assessment of job-related personality traits and cognitive abilities.

In addition, we have developed a high-tech battery of promotional assessments that are tailor-made for Ohio police agencies. Two types of exams are available for promotional assessment: a multiple-choice job-knowledge exam (OH-FLS Knowledge) and a situational-judgement test or competency tool (OH-FLS Competency), which can be used as either an assessment of first-line supervisor candidate skills and abilities or as a robust development tool that identifies supervisory strengths and weaknesses.

I/O Solutions has developed these two state-of-the-art products jointly with the Law Enforcement Foundation, a branch of the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police.
